Job Description
Taka-Taka, a popular Greek takeaway, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Manager. The Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's operations, including staff management, customer service, food quality, and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of employees, including scheduling, training, and performance management
- Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained at all times
- Ensure that food is prepared and served according to the restaurant's quality standards
- Maintain inventory and order supplies as necessary
- Monitor financial performance and ensure that revenue and expenses are in line with business objectives
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for customers and employees
- Act as a liaison between the restaurant and external parties, such as vendors and suppliers
- Continuously assess and improve restaurant operations to optimize efficiency and profitability
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in a management role in the restaurant industry
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Familiarity with restaurant inventory management and financial reporting
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of Greek cuisine and culture is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £12.00-£14.00 per hour
