Our client has a group of practices that have been a significant part of the Norwich and Norfolk communities for a great many years and has been a beacon of high-quality veterinary care for their clients. They group has a long-established small animal, equine and farm practices across Norwich and East Anglia area.
You will be joining team at an exciting time as they start to transform the business and make changes to ensure it is clinically fit and financially viable for the future. This transformation includes new ways of working, role development and enhancement and a defined clinical strategy with associated service development and development for the entire team. They are committed to developing the clinical and support teams to ensure they can meet our short, medium, and long-term goals. The clinics have fantastic facilities to offer clients including: two theatres and a dental theatre, three consulting rooms, a new ultrasound machine, digital x-ray, and dental x-ray, separate cat and dog wards and slit lamp.
The team are the practices biggest strength, they have over 30 vets working across all disciplines and ranging from new graduates to established senior colleagues with many years of experience and knowledge to share with the team. The group has extensive specialist services including Dermatology, Ophthalmology and Orthopaedic surgery. They are currently building and developing the nursing team with a multi-disciplinary programme of role review, development and enhancement to better support the veterinary team.
The client is now looking for an enthusiastic small animal vet to join them, this is an exciting time of growth for the team, offering a unique opportunity for the successful candidate, who will cover a variety of first opinion and surgical cases. The candidate will be able to work 40 hours per week over 4 days with a fixed day off as agreed with the practice. However, they are open to part-time applicants. The ideal candidate would join our 1:4 weekend rota, time off in lieu is gained for working the weekend. No on call commitments or bank holiday hours but there is occasional responsibility to check on hospitalised patients. The salary for this role is up to £65,000 depending on experience and a relocation allowance of £5k. You will be enthusiastic and have a desire to help shape the new future of this large and growing veterinary partnership.
