Care Support Worker – Mental Health

Band 3
Block bookings 3-4 shifts a week 6 months contract
Day Rate - £11.85 per hour
Night/Sat Rate -£16.00 per hour
Sun/Bank Holiday Rate -£20.03 per hour
What you’ll be responsible for –
· 1 Recognising the individuality of the patient and help to meet his or her social, emotional, and intellectual needs
· 2 Will be involved in the delivery and coordination of ward activities
· 3 Ensuring that basic physical needs are met, such as adequate diet, hygiene, warmth, comfort, and safety
· 4 Assisting in planned treatments in accordance with multi-disciplinary team approach
You’ll have the following qualification/experience:
· An NVQ Level 2 or above in Health & Social Care Qualification or Care Certificate Qualification that has been obtained within the NHS
· A minimum of 6 months experience if one of the above qualifications is obtain, if not a minimum of 12 months is required. Experience must be within an NHS or private setting such as Hospice. Care home experience no accepted for this trust.
· Undertake regular mandatory training
· Some roles will need a valid PMVA/MAPA training
