Job Description
We will carefully match you to our clients, in your local community, and you will support them to live happy, independent lives by providing:

Help with everyday tasks such as meal preparation and light housework
-
Assisting your client with their medication
-
Personal care - supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing, and grooming to keep them healthy and independent

Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit

Accompanying to appointments, shopping, or attending social/community events
Qualifications
You may never have thought about working in care, however you probably have the life experience and skills we’re looking for: kindness, empathy and patience.
If you like making people smile, then you already have the skills to be a great Care Professional, so no prior experience of care is required. All your paid training will take place at our office in Chertsey where you will meet like minded colleagues

You have the right to work in the UK

You have a full driving licence and access to a fully insured car

That you have a warm heart and caring nature and love a chat

You are reliable, responsible and have a passion for making a difference to someone’s day.

That you live locally or are happy to travel to our clients.

That you have good communication skills

Experience in care (personal, dementia or other) is valuable, however full training will be given
Additional Information
Care Professional Benefits:
Great rates of pay Weekend hours from £14, plus double pay on bank holidays.

Minimum of 1-hour visits no uniform required as we believe it’s more friendly that way.

Paid annual leave.

Paid mileage between calls after the first 10 miles (30p/mile)

Award winning, accredited training and development as standard - time and qualification paid for by Home Instead. £250 on completion
