Job Description
Concepts and Methods Company (CAMCo Furnace) is seeking an experienced and motivated sheet metal fabricator for our busy production warehouse. The majority of the position will be carrying out routine operations and building parts to support the company's main manufacturing process. This job involves repetition of detail-oriented tasks, with a high volume of parts that need to be manufactured correctly.
The ideal candidate will have some fabrication or mechanical experience. This job is well suited to be a long-term position for the right candidate; we offer a competitive salary and generous benefits package.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Produce detailed, high-quality custom sheet metal parts from refractory metals.
- Setting up and operating a variety of different machines and hand tools
- Bending, rolling, shearing, and lacing complex sheet metal assemblies
- Installing parts into finished assemblies
- Follow standard operating procedures and checklists to complete tasks independently and on time
- Maintain shop inventories of materials, consumables, hardware, and other production components
- Adhere to all safety guidelines as trained, relating to manufacturing and COVID-19 procedures
- Optimize layouts on raw material in order to minimize scrap.
- Routinely inspect, clean, and maintain workspace and equipment in-use.- Utilize a variety of machines and techniques safely to assist in the production process:
- Sheet metal shearer, break, and rollers. Some processes require an open flame to heat and work material.
- Operate CNC laser cutter and router for automated cutouts and engraving of complex sheet parts
- Work efficiently while wearing supplied protective equipment, including but not limited to:
- Mask, face shield (or safety glasses), gloves, hearing protection, and safety shoes

Qualifications and Skills
- Strong work ethic and organizational skill
- Must be extremely detail-oriented. Stronger emphasis on creating parts accurately vs. quickly.
- Knowledge of safe manufacturing procedures required.
- Good written/oral communication skills.
- Team-oriented to work within a small manufacturing unit. Must be willing to work with the rest of the manufacturing team to confidently address and solve problems if they arise.
- Must be able to make accurate measurements with repetitive tasks.
- Numerical skills and the use of basic math is required daily.
- Able to read or learn to work from mechanical drawings.
- Willingness to learn new fabrication and prototyping skills.
- Basic familiarity with Windows OS computers and willingness to learn new software
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Able to lift 30 pounds, and push/pull 50 pounds.
- Minimum High school diploma/GED, open to a broad range of additional education and training.

Compensation and Benefits Package
- Salary range based on experience. Minimum starting salary $25/hr
