An exciting opportunity has arisen to work with both North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire Public Health Team.
Public Health is the system lead for identifying actual and potential health need and developing strategic solutions to promote wellbeing, prevent ill-health and improve outcomes for those experiencing health and wellbeing challenges, through evidence-based practice.
Public Health is complex and often unpredictable, requiring constant re-prioritisation in response to organisational and statutory change, requiring work to be planned, evaluated and allocated against prescribed timescales and performance reporting.
The successful candidate will develop and implement specialist local sexual health improvement programmes and strategies in order to improve outcomes in health and wellbeing and reduce health inequalities.
Will act as a responsible commissioner, providing subject knowledge and expertise.
The remit of this post will focus on developing and leading the strategic development of a comprehensive range of sexual health services, including contraception and primary & secondary prevention of sexually transmitted diseases.
This role will support the Senior Public Health Manager in both North and North East Lincolnshire to implement a range of sexual health services across each geographical footprint.
