What you’ll be doing…
• Promoting a proactive approach to HSE management and culture of care, including regular site visits & contact with managers to ensure issues are clearly understood and effectively managed.
• Providing advice and support to teams to meet requirements of legislation and company processes & procedures and drive improvements
• Coordinate and manage communications e.g. bulletins, noticeboards/screens, briefing, information packs, policy guidance, tool box talks etc
• Lead by example in proactive safety-Talks, hazards spots, BLACK
• Monitor events uploaded onto Eco Online – Airsweb and ensure completion of investigations for accidents, incidents, near misses.
• Ensure adherence to accident / incident investigation procedures
• Manage the closure of non-conformances and corrective actions arising from investigations, inspections and risk assessments
• Support with keeping the H&S management system up to date.
• Maintain database used for trend analysis and period reporting
• Attend and minute H&S meetings
• Support investigations where required
• Identify training needs concerning health and safety at work
• Co-ordinate and maintain assessment and inspection activities as required
• Support development and implementation of safe standard operating procedures
• Maintain a suitable and sufficient standard of knowledge and qualification in order to effectively advise and inform.
