About Us
We have been established for over twenty five years and are experienced in the installation repair and maintenance of tail lifts both wheelchair and commercial, accessible conversions and other ancillary equipment such as steps, ramps, winches, heaters and cranes.
The core of our business is our fleet of fully equipped service vehicles operating 24 hours a day, every day of the year. We provide thorough statutory testing and certification including weight testing both on and or, as is most frequent, service at the customer’s premises.
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Administrative Scheduler / Planner to join our growing company based in Sawston, Cambridge to provide excellent administrative support to our engineers. You will be a part of the communication hub of - engaging and supporting the field team to deliver excellent standards of service delivery for our clients. As a Scheduler you will be required to liaise with the engineers and customers to ensure all works scheduled and completed within set Service Level Agreements. Other duties will include administrative support, customer service, scheduling works and taking calls from customers and engineers. You will need to manage your workload and prioritise daily duties efficiently whilst communicating identified risks effectively. A friendly, approachable person is a necessity as the successful candidate will work as part of a small team in a large department.
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and Outlook essential. PowerPoint desirable
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Customer Service experience essential.
- Attention to detail – high accuracy level
- Deadline driven
- Team Player but capable of working on own initiative to fully understand implications of changes and effective working methods
- Excellent organisation and administrative skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deal with incoming calls from customers regarding breakdown and maintenance issues
- Forward plan work for engineers
- Maintain relationships between customers, engineers and the company
- Manage “live” jobs, dealing with any issues and concerns from the customer
- Ensure that work is completed on time and SLA’s are adhered to
- Produce reports and keep customer records up to date at all times
- Ensure opportunities for recommendations are maximised
Person Specification:
- Previous experience of planning and scheduling in a similar role is desirable but not essential
- Experience of liaising with engineers
- Tail lift and ancillary equipment knowledge desirable
- Excellent communication skills with a pleasant telephone manner
- Adopting a positive approach and a team player in a busy office
- A keen eye for detail
- Proactive in problem solving
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
