We are currently looking for a Maintenance Operative/Handyperson to join our team in Willand, Devon. This is a fantastic and exciting opportunity to join one of the UK's largest food manufacturer.

- The hours of work and shift patterns are: 08:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday
- The rate of pay is: £12.50 per hour
Main Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Operative/ Handyperson, you will join a small team with duties that vary from day to day. These will include:
- Ensuring the grounds around the site are maintained to a high standard
- General building maintenance such as general painting and carpentry
- Collecting parts required by engineers
- Assisting our engineers and electricians as required.
The Ideal Candidate
As our ideal candidate you will have:
- Experience of working in a similar Maintenance Operative/DIY/Handyperson role.
- Good communication and team working skills
- The ability to plan and organise your own workload
- You'll be comfortable working unsupervised
- And, as this role is based on a food production site, some knowledge of Health and Safety and Food Safety would be an advantage
