With the recent creation of a Student Experience team within the Library, we continue to focus on how we can improve services for all of our users. As part of this, we are seeking to expand our evening and weekend services to best support those using the Library at these times.
This role will play a crucial part in the expansion of weekend services, providing additional support to colleagues and customers at busy times of the day.
In this role you will:
- Assist with the delivery of a high quality and innovative information service to evening and weekend users; including the training of individuals and groups as required.
- Undertake UX and Service Design work to help develop the evening and weekend service in a way that best supports these users.
- Update webpages and online platforms with accurate information as needed over the weekend.
- Work with colleagues across the Student Experience Team to ensure continuity of service over evening and weekends.
- Supervise and support Weekend & Evening Library Assistants.
We are looking for an individual with experience working in customer service and knowledge of good customer service practices.
