A confident and conscientious Senior Social Worker to work within the Integrated Discharge Team in Mental Health Service at Lancashire County Council .
Within this fast-paced Hospital Discharge Team we require an accessible and pro-active leader to guide our Social Workers through challenging cases and daily tasks.
The range of work on offer is vast with service users based around the county, so you will need to have plenty of energy and motivation with a "get up and go" attitude. The Mental Health Integrated Discharge team requires a certain flare and finesse when it comes to dealing with challenging clients; every case is different therefore a person-centred approach will be your key to success. Although you will be pivotal in providing support to your fellow Social Workers, you will also be supplied with unwavering assistance from your line management team and wider organisation, allowing you to perform to the best of your ability.

Inspirational, Resilient and Strategic Leadership – you will play an integral role in ensuring all your Social Workers are trained appropriately and to the highest possible standard, thus delivering the best possible outcomes to our clients – we want you to be an inspirational motivator, encouraging independence and critical thinking throughout the team – your strategies will be developed through leading best practice meetings and cascading crucial details to the teams – your eagerness to learn and progress will go hand in hand with assisting managers in important meetings and undertaking specific functions – we also want you to empower our Social Care Support Officers providing effective supervisions and facilitate valuable learning opportunities
Collaborative – you'll be passionate about forming strong working relationships with your health colleagues allowing successful outcomes to be achieved – we work with a multi-agency collaborative therefore it is imperative that you are able to provide a seamless response for the individuals you are working with – as well as operating alongside other professionals it is paramount that you are able to join forces with the patients themselves – we want you to ensure a smooth transition for our clients by combining all aspects of your role, transforming the whole process into a smooth & seamless one.
