Job Description
THE PERSON
We are looking for someone to join an established eCommerce business with over 10 years experience retailing online and over 30 years experience sourcing and retailing clothing through shops and events. Our company is a fast-growing ethical clothing and accessory retailer, and we are currently looking for a key member of staff to help drive us forward.
The successful applicant will be responsible and reliable, someone we can really count on who has a willingness and desire to learn. Strong administrative experience is essential, you will need to be very organised and able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and be highly competent in IT skills. You must be able to work under your own initiative and as part of a team, learn new processes, manage your own workload effectively and always be looking for efficiencies and better ways of doing things.
We are a small team, so everyone mucks in with various tasks, it is important that you have a can-do attitude and don’t mind getting your hands dirty when required.
THE ROLE
Working in eCommerce involves a varied workload, some of your duties will be:
Creating accurate, detailed and engaging product listings for eBay, Amazon, Etsy and Shopify
Customer Services - dealing with customer enquiries via email, social media etc.
Product photography, including editing images on Photoshop
Ideally, the role would suit someone looking for full-time employment, but part-time / flexible working arrangements are also attractive.
The salary is 20-30k per year dependent on ability and experience.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
The following skills and experience are required for this role –
· At least 2 years previous experience in a similar / comparable job
· Excellent spoken and written English - additional languages would be a bonus but are not required.
· Intermediate knowledge of Excel and its basic formulae
· Previous use of the selling tools on Amazon, eBay, Etsy and Shopify
· Experience listing products in bulk using Excel / .CSV files
· Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook (or similar)
· Confident use of cameras and photo editing is essential.
The following skills are desirable, but not essential –
· Experience with Linnworks and other online marketplaces
· Creating and updating online product content – descriptions, keywords, photos
· Social media marketing
· Product photography experience
· Knowledge of fabrics and textiles
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 40 per week
Salary: £20,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
