Job title: Project Professional – Social Impact
Location: Barrow-in-Furness, we offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements
Salary: Circa £38,734, depending on skills & experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Developing and implementing projects and initiatives, which will contribute to the delivery of the business social impact approach
- Establishing productive and effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders including public, private and voluntary sector organisations
- Ensuring effective monitoring, evaluation and reporting of projects and initiatives highlighting key outputs, outcomes and impacts
- Managing risk and opportunity - Identifying, analysing and managing risk through appropriate methods and tools, whilst identifying new opportunities to enable the business to achieve our social impact aims
Your skills and experiences:
- Proven track record of implementing projects and being able to manage complex projects
- Ability to build lasting and trusted relationships with our stakeholders at all levels, internally and externally
- Good knowledge of the local area including the economic and social challenges and opportunities
Desirable:
- Community or Project Management qualification, or equivalent experience

The Social Impact team:
You will be joining a growing team of 8 members to develop and implement social impact approaches. You will be responsible for education skills outreach activity, community investment, supply chain social impact, health and well-being and our wider environmental impact.
