Location: LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort, Windsor, SL4 4AY
Hours: Full Time Fully Flexible, covering hours between 07:00am and 10:00pm
Pay: up to £9.50 per hour + pension, ongoing training and Merlin Magic Pass – 20 free tickets for you, your family and friends to enjoy all of our Merlin Attractions across the world
Pay Rates will be increased in April 2023 in line with the National Minimum Wage review

About the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort
We are looking for a Hotel Receptionist to join our AWESOME Hotel Front of House team at the UK’s favourite children’s theme park; the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort. The LEGOLAND Windsor Resort is the ultimate destination for families with children age 2-12. The Resort is home to two awesome LEGO themed Hotels and a host of rides, shows and attractions built around the iconic LEGO® brick. This role is based at the Windsor theme park, located in 150 acres of beautiful parkland.
Reporting to the Front of House Coordinator the Hotel Receptionist will be responsible for making sure our guests receive a 5-star experience! Whether you’re on the reception desk checking guests in, greeting guests as they arrive outside our Hotel lobby, managing the guest flow from the Hotel exit into the Resort (checking their tickets, sharing your resort knowledge) or even assisting guests with their luggage you’ll be part of the team who make their stay extra special, full of memories to cherish!
Please note – internally this role is known as Hotel Front of House Assistant
About the role of Hotel Receptionist
As a Hotel Receptionist you will demonstrate a high standard of customer service at check in, check out and with ad hoc guest queries

You will work across multiple areas within the Hotel, not just the reception desk, including: greeting guests outside the hotel upon their arrival, handling of guest luggage within the luggage store, escorting guests to their rooms, directing guests to facilities around the Hotel as a Hotel lobby host

You will oversee the park entrance from the hotel, carrying out checking of park tickets and giving our guests your best tips for a great day out!

Booking of breakfast/dinner/swimming sessions for our guests

Receive guest feedback and enquiries, escalating as required

Maintain strong communication links within the Front Office team and with other departments across the hotel and resort

Gain knowledge of room types, facilities and locations within the Hotel and resort
Experience required:
Experience of working within a Hotel within a Front of House or Receptionist role

Confident in manual handling as you will be expected to lift and move guest luggage

Flexible approach to working – our Hotel Reception Team are not an office-based function. You will interact with our guests from our standing reception desk so you will be happy to stand for extended periods of time

Comfortable and confident using computer-based booking systems is desirable, though of course we will provide full training on our systems

Have a passion for delivering excellent service and a passion for our brand
