We are on the hunt for an experienced, talented, and highly motivated Global Head of Strategic Alliances to support the growth of our corporate partnerships and accelerate our mission to solve the climate crisis.

The Role:
Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, we are looking for a Global Head of Strategic Alliances to own and manage our strategic partner relationships, helping us to become the global market leader in supply chain decarbonisation.
At its core, the role will lead on our engagement with a broad network of key partners ranging from industry bodies, research organisations, expert consultancies, and academic institutions. Example partners include the World Economic Forum, Ricardo Energy & Environment, Gartner, Edison Energy, ProcureTech, RENEW Energy Partners, University of Cambridge and many more.
This is an exciting role, suiting someone with outstanding relationship management skills, a commercial mindset, and a keen interest in how technology can be used to drive climate action. They will enjoy being an active member of our dynamic and increasingly global business development team and relish working at the cutting edge of climate tech innovation.
Role Responsibilities:
- Work with the Chief Commercial Officer to develop our partnerships strategy and contribute to the wider business planning process.
- Effectively manage a broad portfolio of strategic partners to ensure shared-value objectives are met.
- Build long-term and trust-based relationships with senior executives from our strategic partners.
- Establish teaming agreements with new partners and monitor future performance against them.
- Host regular partner meetings to review progress of high-profile projects and key deliverables.
- Write presentations, plans and proposals and accurately record partner activity within our CRM.
- Act as the main contact point between our partners and various departments within the company.
- Work in close partnership with the sales and marketing teams to achieve company sales targets.
- Leverage the expertise of our partners to feed into the company product development roadmap.
- Confidently communicate the company mission, product offer and value proposition.
- Represent the company at industry events, networking with partners, clients, and prospects.
- Build out our partnerships management team across the UK, EU, and North American markets.
Essential:
Skills and Experience:
- Passionate belief in our mission to accelerate the decarbonisation of global supply chains.
- At least five years' experience in senior B2B management positions.
- Previous experience of owning strategic relationships and successfully leading partnerships.
- Experience of managing complex multistakeholder projects with competing priorities.
- Able to not only see opportunities where others can't but have the skills to maximise them too.
- Confident with MS Office, CRM systems and social media channels.
- Impeccable written and spoken English, with outstanding communication skills.
- A solid grasp of data analysis, business metrics and ROI performance measures to targets.
Desirable:
- Understanding of climate change and environmental/corporate sustainability.
- Knowledge of global supply chains and how they operate.
- A relevant bachelor's degree and/or professional qualification.
- Experience in digital, technology or Software as a Service (SaaS) businesses.

Job summary:
Location: Oxford, UK (or hybrid working)
Remuneration: £60-£80k dependent on experience, plus bonus and share options
Tenure: Full time / permanent
