About This Role
Are you looking to kick start your career within the biotech industry? Utilise your undergraduate degree and join our Graduate Intern programme. We are seeking 2 interns to work in our Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and Rare Diseases Marketing teams for a twelve-month period, with a targeted start date of April 2023.
The Graduate Intern Programme will give you a unique opportunity to put your skills to the test and help you develop a broad set of hard and soft business competencies, by working within the Marketing team at Biogen. The programme seeks to give talent who have recently graduated or will be graduating shortly, the chance to accelerate their careers, with the intention of creating the next generation of pharmaceutical leaders. We are seeking people with an interest in building their experience in the specific field of marketing, within a company like Biogen.
Roles and responsibilities vary across our intern programme, but we all share the same commitment to excellence and the drive to ensure we provide patients with the best possible care and our customers with the best possible experiences.
The programme is designed for recent graduates to work closely with leadership, learning from established mentors and developing a network of outstanding colleagues. The programme will be very hands-on and you will be in the business from day 1, working to add value to our business, our customers and our patients.
What You'll Do
Biogen UK’s MS and Rare Diseases Marketing Teams develop and deliver the strategic and tactical plans for our products. The interns will work with the teams across the whole variety of the work carried out. This includes:

Promotional Material Development

Supporting the sales team (training, material development, communication)

Conference logistics and planning

Collaborating with internal teams (medical, regulatory etc)

External engagement with agencies

Liaising with Regional and Global Biogen Teams

Market Research Support

Internal meeting support

Branding projects
Within this work the interns will be given opportunities to work closely with members of the Marketing Teams and the wider UK and Irish organization including the Senior Leadership Team. The successful candidates will be able to run their own projects, reporting to the team.
You will be joining an extensive close-knit multifunctional graduate intern team, where you get the opportunity to fit in and complete large corporate projects on top of your brand responsibilities.

Qualifications

A recent undergraduate degree in a relevant subject, preferably in a scientific discipline.
