The Trust has a well-established and strong brand within private patients and invested in a private outpatient and diagnostic imaging centre located on Wimpole Street.
An opportunity has risen for a driven and skilled Cross Sectional Radiographer who strives for excellence and wishes to be a part of a world class imaging service. Expert cardiac training will be provided were necessary. This post also offers a good work life balance.
The successful candidate will contribute to the development, growth and success of the facility as part of a multidisciplinary team. The post holders will ensure that a gold standard service is delivered to all stakeholders.
The facility has a wide range of state of the art equipment including x-ray, ultrasound, PET-CT, MRI and CT with cross-training opportunities available and encouraged.

- To perform intravenous cannulation and manual injection of contrast medium.
- To be responsible for safety within the CT, MRI & x-ray department.
- To participate in an accurate and on-going quality assurance (QA) program.
- To undertake scanning procedures within CT, MRI and x-ray.
- To undertake x-ray request from onsite clinics and outside referrals.
- To assess scans for quality/anything of clinical significance and to take appropriate action where necessary.
- To act as point of advice for patient enquiries regarding their referral.
- To independently assess each patient and adapt techniques according to the needs of the patient.
The post will give the opportunity to build on and extend your clinical expertise in cardiac imaging. The successful candidate needs to be enthusiastic, highly motivated, hardworking, a team player and committed.
You will deliver a high quality of diagnostic imaging to all service users, ensuring clinical safety and facilitating an exceptional level of care for all patients in keeping with:
