Hours: Full-Time / Permanent

Role Overview:
As an Area Manager for the retail operation of our Cooplands brand you will be responsible for several stores across an assigned geographical area and be responsible for supporting your stores in meeting set standards and targets. You will have the opportunity to develop yours stores and strive to make improvements to your area from all aspects.
This role will be covering areas such as Darlington (DL1), Durham (DH1), Middleborough (TS1), Redcar (TS10) and Cleveland (TS18)
What will my main responsibilities be as an Area Manager?
Responsible for the operation and development of a portfolio of shops within a geographical area
Coach, mentor and motivate teams to achieve sales targets and ensure exceptional service is being provided to our customers
Implement strategies to drive sales, reduce waste and maximize profit
Take ownership of the training and developing of shops managers
Working closely with your stores to identify areas of growth and improvement whilst managing allocated budgets effectively
Working closely alongside regional managers to identify opportunities of business development
Candidate requirements:
Minimum 1 years’ experience working in an area/field management role
Capable of leading and motivating a large team of individuals by setting clear priorities, goals and assessing individual performance against these
Managing the day to day operations whilst ensuring all key areas of responsibility are delivered for health and safety, financial performance and customer satisfaction
Commercially aware with the ability to identify to identify areas of improvement to support growth plans/strategies
Proven track record of demonstrating strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and lead
Strong communication skills with the ability to prioritize workload and deliver robust effective plans across the business
Experience working in a target driven sales environment is desirable
Driving License is required
