The Stores Operative is a key part of the successful delivery of planned daily maintenance, ensuring the station’s stock levels are maintained. With meticulous attention to detail, the Stores Operative will ensure accurate preloading of material and expedite the return of unserviceable components. easyJet maintain the highest safety standards possible and as part of your role you will ensure that the planned in-house maintenance activity supports both regulatory standards and easyJet’s industry leading safety and technical standards.
What you need to do the role
You will need to be able to ensure that all material and tooling shipments are inspected for damage and handled in a timely manner, acceptance and receipt of material and spares for planned maintenance activity and stock holding replenishment. Support operation with COAS (carriage of air spares) requirements and Liaise with material and commercial stock suppliers to ensure station operating minimums are maintained. You will be asked to Support production planning process through the pre-loading of aircraft spares and material for the upcoming nights work. Place any damaged items in quarantine, until the discrepancy is resolved. Ensure prompt return of unserviceable parts in line with company process. Control the issue and return of company tooling for planned maintenance activity. Comply with known and notified health and safety requirements, communicating them to others when appropriate. Ensure that company and contracted customers’ policies are complied with.

Location & Hours of Work
This full-time role will be based in Gatwick working a DDNN (12 hr) or rotating day/night (12 hr Family Friendly) shift pattern with occasional travel requirements to easyJet’s headquarters in Luton.
