We're looking for an experienced computer scientist to join our growing Scientific Computing team within Imaging Physics to focus on providing expert scientific and specialist computational support across our projects. You may have a scientific computing, physics or engineering background, and will possess a relevant degree in a scientific discipline with proven abilities in informatics and computing. You'll have good programming skills, experience across the software life-cycle, and a high degree of technical proficiency.
You'll work as a member of a friendly and growing team of healthcare computer scientists and imaging scientists developing bespoke scientific software for clinic and research, usually with imaging data from multiple modalities, as well as some non-imaging datasets. We lead the UHS Medical Device Software Group (MDSG), bringing medical device software development under an appropriate quality management system.
