Trafalgar Entertainment connects people through creative, innovative experiences by providing inspiring entertainment for everyone for life. At Wycombe Swan we are now recruiting for a Stage Door Keeper to join our team. Shifts are flexible/variable and include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Here at Wycombe Swan, it is an exciting, fast-paced environment with a variety of plays, music and comedy as well as some community events. We also host conferences, parties, and weddings
We offer opportunities for advancement, with regularly scheduled development training sessions as well as cross-role training.
About the Role
The main responsibilities of the Stage Door Keeper will be:
The Stage Door Keeper will be the hub of all backstage communications and administrative systems.
Assist in the efficient running of the administration functions at Wycombe Swan
providing quality administrative, communications and reception support service for all departments, callers, visitors, patrons, and the general public as appropriate.
Excellent programme, ticketing system, services and facilities so that enquiries can be accurately, promptly and appropriately handled
Assist with the security of backstage areas: monitoring of all people entering/leaving the building via Stage Door; the maintenance of signing-in and signing-out records and the management of the issue and return of keys and radios
Provide a reception service for the ‘back of house’ entrance to Wycombe Swan, including receiving deliveries, directing visitors, assisting with artistes’ enquiries, and helping staff as required
Providing an excellent and efficient switchboard service and transferring calls to appropriate members of staff or departments.
Understand and implement Health and Safety, Fire Safety
Complete full building unlocks and lock ups.

Previous experience working in theatre or an entertainment venue
