The Role
We are looking to appoint an innovative, dynamic and enthusiastic Teacher of Design & Technology/Engineering who can release the creative side of our students. The department is well resourced and features a range of CAD/CAM and CNC equipment.
Teaching pupils throughout Key Stage 3 and 4, you will be based in one of our dedicated DT rooms. A background in delivering Level 1/2 Engineering Design or Manufacture would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.
Currently, OCR Level 1/ 2 Engineering Design and Engineering Manufacture is offered to KS4 students and is very popular. The successful candidate would be expected to have an interest in teaching to this level or offering GCSE Product Design.
You will be joining a strong Technology department supported by specialist technicians.
