Waste Collection Operations Manager
Salary: Competitive plus bonus, company car/car allowance, and pension.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Location: Cambridge

As an Operations Manager at Veolia will be responsible for the day-to-day management of operatives and staff whilst providing site based support to ensure the site capability/capacity is maximised.

What will you be doing?
- Deliver strong operational and financial performance whilst maintaining high levels of customer service and team mental and physical wellbeing.
- Ensure safety & well being of all employees and those affected by our operations.
- Implement people management processes and procedures in line with company policy.
- Ensure training and competency checks are in place for all roles.
- Manage people and assets to deliver / exceed service expectations.
- Work in partnership with Sales Teams to maintain and foster good customer relations.
- Manage operations against Veolia Minimum Requirements.
- Manage people and assets to deliver efficient and profitable service.
- Be the nominated Transport Manager with overall responsibility for Fleet management and compliance.
- Utilise data to improve operational performance.
What are we looking for?
- Hold a valid Transport CPC - desirable
- Level 3 Leadership & Management or equivalent work experience
- IOSH Managing Safely - desirable
- COTC Level 4 - desirable
- Experience of leading and managing a team
- Previous experience of operating within a commercial business and an understanding of the other associated operational processes that may be in use on site.
- Fleet management experience.
