Our Industrial Laundry site is based in Lancaster.
Main Responsibilities:
You will be part of a large, hardworking, friendly team responsible for ensuring that our customers receive outstanding levels of service, and that all work is completed to the highest quality and hygiene standards.
You will be responsible for processing customer flat linen and items using large industrial machinery. The items you will be handling includes, bedding, towels, blankets, scrubs, etc. The tasks can be repetitive and will require concentration skills, attention to detail and a high level of health and safety awareness.
No experience is required. Full training will be provided, and you will have the opportunity to develop the skills of a Multi-Skilled Operative. A personal development plan will be agreed between yourself and management, in which you will have the opportunity to discuss any career aspirations and explore development opportunity. Once you have completed your probationary period, you will have access to apply onto one of the ranges of Apprenticeship courses on offer and the company will continue to support your personal and career development.
What we are looking for:
- Good communications skills are essential, both verbal and written.
- Good level of physical fitness and be comfortable with working on your feet for long periods.
- Experience of working in a customer focused environment.
- Experience of working within a fast-paced production environment (desirable but not essential).
- Great team player and able to take own initiative and be highly responsible.
- Willing to learn new skills.
- Good work ethic.

Working Schedule and Pay:
- EVENING SHIFT - Monday to Friday - 14:30pm to 23:00pm.
- £10.00 per hour - standard rate.
- £12.50 per hour - over time rate.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £10.00-£12.50 per hour
