Position:
Town House Manager
This vacancy is a live in position with accommodation provided. Suitable for a single professional or a couple
- The Town House Manager reports to the Town House Operations Manager (TOM) and is accountable for the management, administration, and operational coordination of the assigned Town House
- Implementation of the HI WEST brand essence – providing a relaxed, simple but efficient service culture, in a zero harm environment through the guest centric touch points
- Create and sustain a work environment that embraces the company vision, mission and values and ensures fair, equitable treatment of all staff
- Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with all key stakeholders e.g. Local Community,
Local Authorities, Town House/Hotel Associations, and other relevant bodies
- Practiced in customer and employee relations, contributing to the successful running of the Town
House, and the satisfaction of those who work in it, consistent with that success.
- Ensures that all team members are knowledgeable as to the requirements of the relevant S.O.Ps
(Standard Operating Procedures), supporting the team of managers to maintain the defined standards
- Working with colleagues at all levels to deliver a consistent level of quality service
- The Town House Manager participates in all operational meetings as part of the Town House
Operations Manager’s team in all matters pertaining to the operations of the Town House
Qualifications for the job:
- Must have two years’ experience in a similar role or a transferable skill set
- Graduate of a hospitality, management or business course (or its equivalent) is desired
- Must have previous people management experience
- Must be strategic in their overall approach to business and decision making
- Must be able to work on their own initiative
- Must have excellent communication skills adaptable to a wide range of audiences
- Must have strong organisational and administrative skills
- Must be highly personable with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the business
- Must be proficient in IT/Microsoft Office

Duties & Responsibilities:
- As the operational lead, the Townhouse Manager is accountable for the overall management of the assigned Pineapple Townhouse. With an in-depth knowledge of all areas of operations the Town House
Manager will be capable of managing any given situation that may arise in a calm and professional manner, in keeping with Pineapple Town House’s policies and procedures, whilst utilising resources appropriate for the task. Robust communication and effective teamworking will be critical for success
- Upon your appointment, your immediate responsibility will be to ensure a smooth transition and handover from the incumbent Town House Manager likewise in a pre-opening situation in the instance of a new acquisition

- The Town House Manager participates as a member of the TOM’s team in all matters pertaining to the operations of the Town House
- Ensures that all team members are knowledgeable as to the requirements of the relevant SOP’s
(Standard Operating Procedures)
- Supports fellow colleagues to maintain the defined standards. Works with colleagues at all levels to deliver a consistent level of quality service
- Ensure the agreed HI WEST and Pineapple Town House KPIs are met in full, exceed where possible and reported upon in a timely manner
- At the direction of the TOM and CFO provide formatted financial reports for management that clearly explain operational effectiveness, trends and variances
- Conduct regular audits and physical inspections of all areas of the assigned Pineapple Town House in order to evaluate the condition relative to health, safety, risk management, asset preservation, customer service, and company standards
- Champion the brand philosophy and ensures alignment with brand strategy amongst all staff
- Demonstrate key drivers of guests’ satisfaction. Make balanced decisions based on what is best for the customer, right for the business and supportive to all staff
- Ensure employee motivation, training and development, wage and benefits administration, and compliance with established labour regulations
- In accordance with Pineapple Town Houses SOPs and policies, recruit, hire, develop and retain a diverse and highly productive guest centric team. Facilitate, as is possible, the growth and career development of all team members
- Regularly review guest satisfaction results and other data to identify areas for improvement
- Recommend ideas for improvements in the customer experience and, as possible, revenue-enhancing
- Maintain an appropriate level of community public affairs involvement
- Perform any other executive task as required by the Townhouse Operations Director

Salary: Up to £35,000.00 per year
