easyJet holidays Customer Safety Manager

Where you’ll be working:

This is a new role to help drive the right safety standards and customer protection within our operation and how it is done by our partners. Whether it’s in destination airport transfers, coral snorkelling experiences or hiring ski equipment, we work with partners to deliver on our customers’ expectations. This role will be key to supporting how we deliver our proposition through our partners ensuring that they have appropriate safety, resilience, and compliance arrangements to look after our customers. This role will also be responsible for the safety and security of new projects, initiatives, and products to ensure that our growth can be supported by well-considered, customer focussed, efficiently designed safety management systems.

What you’ll be doing:

The Customer Safety Manager is part of the Customer Safety & Wellbeing Team in the Customer and Operations function. The Customer Operation and Operations function includes Safety, Security, Operations, Customer Experience, Communications and Strategy. The team’s purpose is to support that easyJet holidays has a safe and responsible approach to the protection of its customers.

The Customer Safety Manager is responsible for the supporting easyJet holidays in meeting its health, safety, security, and wellbeing duties. The role will focus the development and delivery of the safety management systems, with particular responsibility for our partners, new products and projects.

Working across multiple departments, particularly, Customer & Operations, Commercial and Legal, the role will ensure that our non-accommodation partners, including destination management companies, excursion partners and customer goods and services providers, operate to safety systems and procedures that support our customer safety proposition and obligations.

The role will be responsible for the overall delivery of the customer safety proposition in all new products, projects, and initiatives. This may include ski, villas, new source markets and sourcing appropriate partners for specialist work. Using a risk-based approach the role will communicate the risk and opportunities to the business and provide recommendations and potential solutions to the Customer Safety Governance Group.

The Customer Safety Manager reports to the easyJet holidays Head of Customer Safety & Wellbeing.

What you’ll bring to the team:

You will have significant experience of international operations, partner management, supply chain management, audit or safety and security management

The candidate will have competency and qualification in health, safety and hygiene subjects is essential, but the level will be considered in the context of the strength of the experience in the other key skill requirements.

A good strong track record in managing relationships with partners and external agencies is essential with experience in managing compliance or quality control programmes.

Someone with competent auditor and ideally, experience of managing audit providers with skilled policy and process writer

The candidate will have excellent planning and organisational skills to manage multiple streams of works simultaneously, working in a demanding multi skilled environment with timeline pressures

HOURS OF WORK

This is a full-time role on a hybrid working basis (2 days in Luton). The nature of the role means there may be irregular hours required to effectively support Incident & Crises and will be required to participate in the Incident & Crises on call rota.
