MVF's Publishing team is on a mission to provide trusted content that helps people make confident decisions about the products and services they should buy.

The Role

As an Editorial Assistant, you will be supporting Publishing's Commercial Content team in their planning, briefing and editing of revenue-generating content across our Publishing websites.

Your role will be varied, with the chance to support on a wide range of editorial tasks and the opportunity to engage with most teams in Publishing.

As an Editorial Assistant, you will be uploading articles to our CMS (Wordpress), updating key commercial opportunities across our websites, and supporting the Commercial Content Editor with their daily tasks.

Key to the role is very strong organisation skills, and a desire to learn and develop digital marketing knowledge and awareness in a fast-paced, dynamic team.


Our Team

The Publishing team is responsible for MVF's digital brands/websites and is tasked with growing and engaging relevant audiences through brilliant content and optimising audience channels like SEO and social platforms. The department consists of:

  • Brand hubs – set the brand strategy for our websites and are responsible for ensuring they achieve commercial targets
  • Content team - responsible for producing content and ensuring it is of the highest quality on all of our sites and ensuring they meet their organic traffic and commercial targets
  • Audience team - responsible for delivery audience development strategies to grow the traffic and leads on MVF's brands. The team comprises our Insight team, and SEO and Campaigns (link acquisition) teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Commercial Content Editors to ensure smooth running of the commercial content pipeline
  • Liaising with the Brand Editors and Commercial Content Editors on key deadlines and opportunities
  • Updating the websites across our portfolio under instruction from the Brand and Commercial Content teams
  • Uploading articles to Wordpress
  • Assisting in significant revenue-generating projects and rollouts
  • Responsible for ensuring key commercial figures are kept up to date (eg. prices, dates)
