LBG is the UK’s leading digital bank, with over 30 million customers across our three main brands, as well as the UK’s biggest mobile bank.
Our culture in the Chief Technology Office brings together smart, talented and driven people from diverse backgrounds with the mission to deliver for our customers. Our people make that possible.
Business Architecture – leading change across an exciting portfolio of work:
The Business Architecture team sits within the heart of the Group Chief Operating Office (GCOO). We seek to identify capabilities to power transformation across the organisation. We provide shaping services for complex initiatives to help ensuring major new programmes are set up for success from the beginning.
Some of our other activities include strategically sequencing delivery across the group portfolio, supporting Product Owners to set-up and shape new labs, and very importantly to protect our strategies by coordinating across Business Architecture, IT Architecture and Customer Experience Design.
What will I do as a Business Architect?
Act as a pioneer and disrupt, in order to enable, delivery of transformative change across the Bank. One of your main responsibilities would be ensuring that the end to end design is consistent with the wider bank's design, and work with the cross functional transformation team to drive these designs.
If you love to drive the strategy, find chances to create valuable contributions and turn new ideas into reality then this could be the role for you.
You'd help define the future state of the customer/colleague journey by leading shaping activity, and making clear which choices are best for our customers and colleagues.
What do we need from you?
Highly motivated, proactive, and driven to achieve individual and collective goals and continuous improvement.
Credibility in front of senior audiences, providing healthy challenge where appropriate and able to apply strong situational analysis and decision-making abilities.
Comfortable working in a dynamic fast paced environment often with a degree of ambiguity.
Ability to efficiently communicate ideas, issues, and implications to both senior, technical, and non-technical audiences.
Essential skills
Background in Business Design or Business Analysis
Change delivery experience across project or programme work
Effective knowledge of financial services and products
Complex problem solving
What will Lloyds Banking Group give me in return?
As a multi-brand, multi-channel business, we have the scale and breadth to provide you with a diverse range of training and development opportunities, helping you achieve a rewarding and fulfilling career. Join us and be part of an inclusive, values-based culture focused on making a difference.
Whatever your dream, you can also expect an industry leading range of benefits including:
