Role available:
The University of South Wales (USW) has a fantastic opportunity available as a Registry Assistant providing a range of administrative support to our students, academic colleagues and Partners as part of USWs Academic Registry Department.
Activities:
You will be joining our Team who provide a diverse service and you may well be our users’ first point of contact via a range of different platforms such as telephone, email and Microsoft Teams. On occasion you may be given the opportunity to work more widely across the broader Student Records team as well as supporting Academic Registry events. Taking part in these activities will give you a terrific insight to Higher Education (HE)
About you:
You need to be a resilient self-starter, with an all-round ‘can-do’ attitude and a naturally positive disposition.
Our people:
In Academic Registry we believe our people are our most important resource. We aim to enable staff to develop careers within USW and more widely across HE sector. You will be able to take up opportunities for your development that will enhance your career prospects. As part of this team you will need to embrace the University’s Core Values and work to the Association of University Administrators ‘Professional Behaviors Framework’.
Location of work:
You will be working in a hybrid model out of one of our campus locations balanced with home working. Your principal location of work will be at the Pontypridd campus, although we do expect you to travel and work from all three of the USW campuses. At peak periods it will be essential for you to work outside of our usual office hours and over the weekend.
