Major Recruitment Oldbury are delighted to be recruiting for an Accountancy practice in the Rushden area of Northampton who are seeking an Accountancy Administrator to start immediately.
Duties and tasks will include:
- Preparing statutory accounts for Limited Companies, Sole Traders, Partnerships, Individuals, Trusts and Charities
- Preparing monthly and quarterly bookkeeping files as required, this includes analysing manual records and reconciling control accounts
- Preparing quarterly VAT returns and filing under MTD
- Preparing corporation tax computations and corporation tax returns
- Preparing personal tax computations and personal tax returns
- Liaising with H M Revenue & Customs and Companies House on behalf of clients
- Assisting with adhoc duties including general administrative tasks where required
- Reporting direct to the manager/partner. All work to be reviewed by the manager/partner
Candidates welcome to apply for the role will have the following:
- The successful candidate will be confident in assisting with the accounting and tax requirements for SME’s, other entities and individuals
- Accountancy practice experience is essential (2 years minimum)
- Use of Microsoft Excel essential
- Use of CCH, Sage Line 50, Xero preferred
- Full UK Driving Licence – may occasionally be required to travel to our Wellingborough or Northampton offices
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. Parking is available.
