Legal and Compliance Division Overview:
Professionals within the Legal and Compliance Division provide a wide range of services to our business units. We preserve the firm's invaluable reputation for integrity and protect the firm from sanctions with policies and procedures that are designed to meet regulatory requirements around the world. We also strive to maintain cooperative relationships with governmental policy makers and the regulatory and self-regulatory agencies that govern the firm's businesses.
Your Key Responsibilities in this Role:
The EMEA LCD Operations Lead will be responsible for managing a broad range of operational processes and projects and will lead a team of three professionals that support the Legal and Compliance Division in EMEA. The Lead will also work as part of the global team to help drive Division-wide as well as EMEA objectives. Specific duties include:
> Manage budgets and finances within the Division, including approval of relevant business expenses
> Support the Division's strategy to engage, retain, train, and provide career opportunities for EMEA LCD employees; Deploy the EMEA talent agenda, and leadership engagement initiatives; Support the EMEA LCD Diversity and Inclusion agenda
> Work with the global team to manage vendor relationships (including law firms and other professional services), outsourcing strategy, and business continuity planning
> Work with HR to facilitate effective recruiting (lateral and campus) and on-boarding processes
> Manage the administrative professional program, including performance reviews and training.
> Represent Legal and Compliance on regional committees
