Our engineering team have an increasing portfolio of work and need to strengthen the team, so you’ll be a recent graduate looking for support and experience and you’ll want to benefit from our training and mentoring programme to help you work towards your Chartered Professional Review. You’ll have a preference for civil engineering and environmental remediation type projects but be adaptable and willing to apply yourself to a wide range of technical challenges. You’ll already be a conversant with Autocad and other design software. You’ll be willing to learn and you’ll be a confident communicator.
You will have:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Site based experience and is willing to visit remote sites across the UK
- Design experience in a civil engineering, mining or related field
- Report writing and data analysis skills
- Degree level qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Experience in the design and specification of civil, environmental and river engineering works and of CDM regulations

You will help resolve the impacts of mining through the application of your civil engineering skills and experience.
You'll be part of the friendly and proactive Engineering team which pride themselves on their structured mentoring programme for professional development and training.
Gaining a broad range of experience in a variety of aspects of our mining remediation portfolio. You will receive training and experience in a wide range of civil engineering skills including structures, geotechnics, and environmental engineering.
You will also be working alongside environmental scientists and project managers to investigate, design and deliver on future strategies for environmental improvement.
The role will require you to be able to be in the Mansfield office for a minimum of 1 day a week and to be able to undertake day trips or overnight trips to sites in mid Wales on a regular (typically fortnightly) basis.
