Job Description

Job Introduction

This role has a starting salary of £36,282 per annum based on a 36 hour working week.

This role is a Fixed Term Contract until 31/03/2024.

We currently have a full time vacancy for a Performance Data Analyst. You would be based with the team in Guildford Borough Council offices, Millmead, Guildford, GU2 4BB. There will be occasions you would need to come into the office for meetings, but we also fully support agile working opportunities.

The Contract and Commissioning Support Service provides robust contract management, performance and monitoring support to Commissioners of Adult Social Care. A countywide team, it provides a strategic perspective to some of Adult Social Care’s biggest grants and contracts and works closely with the Procurement team and area-based commissioners to ensure the directorate is achieving, through its commissioned services, the best value-for-money outcomes possible for its residents.

We are looking for a highly motivated and conscientious individual to join our busy and friendly team in the Contract and Commissioning Support Service. This is an opportunity to develop your data analysis skills, report building/writing skills, and presentation skills in order to produce creative reports which support commissioning in Adult Social Care. A key focus of this post will be to support the delivery of the Accommodation with Care and Support, transformation program.

The right candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent IT skills and experience of large datasets, as well as experience of collecting and using data to support decision making. Tableau Software experience is critical; Tableau Skills will be assessed as part of the recruitment process through a test.
