The Security Operations Manager reports directly to the Director Defence Security & Resilience and is the primary security point of contact in providing fundamental security support, advice and assurance across the Defence portfolio for the security of personnel, facility infrastructure, guarding services, security systems and audits in the UK and Internationally across the Rolls- Royce Defence programmes.

What you will be doing:
With this exciting opportunity you will get a chance to:

Act as the first point of contact for all security operational matters for all Defence programmes/locations requiring the protection of staff, assets, or facilities.

Support the director Defence Security & Resilience to develop and maintain the physical, security systems, standards and accountability & governance procedures associated with all UK Defence programmes and facilities.

Implement, maintain and coordinate all physical security assurance & governance for Defence programmes.

Conduct assurance and advisory data collects, visits and coordination with Defence programmes assessing any risks based against security data provided by facilities, security reports or other intelligence.

Experience of providing security support and assistance across a range of international locations and risk levels

Experience of administration of databases and other reporting methods in conjunction with risk assessments, reporting and governance

Experience of physical and security systems necessary to work with Government programmes.
To work for the Rolls-Royce Defence Business there may be a requirement for an individual to hold a level of National Security Vetting (NSV). If the requirement is identified Rolls-Royce will support the application for NSV if the individual does not currently already have this in place.
