What's the job?:
We’re looking for a Senior Cyber Analyst to join us, to support the Cyber Defence department and other information security functions with technical expertise and data interpretation, analysing security risks and their impact on the operating environment, as well as recommending practical solutions that will support Kingfisher Group and our banners’ needs. With cyber security attacks on the increase and the threat landscape changing, this is an integral role in ensuring all IT implementations are secure and monitored accordingly.
In addition, you will:

Own the design, implementation and ongoing administration of security procedures and systems

Take responsibility for the tracking, management and resolution of Information Security Incidents

Drive the implementation and adoption of technical security policies
-
Ensure all IT solutions are delivered ‘Secure by Design’

Perform supplier assurance reviews in support of legal and commercial activities
-
Execute assurance reviews against Kingfisher Information Security policies and standards to ensure IT systems continue to operate securely
What we need::
- Hands-on security engineering experience, e.g firewall management, SIEM / IDS / IPS configuration

Understanding of technical architecture and security aspects of infrastructure and cloud technologies

Strong technical skills to be able to improve cyber controls
-
Experience of creating and implementing technical security standards and security policies

In depth experience of security frameworks such as ISO 27001/2, NIST
-
Strong understanding of the business relevance of information security risks and the current trends and developments in information security
-
Working knowledge of one or more of the following information security technologies: SIEM, Firewall, Threat Hunting, and cloud security

We’re adopting a hybrid approach with some office and some home working, on average 40-60% in the office. Your office location? This person will be UK based with our Head Office in Paddington, or we could explore the option of being based in one of our other retail banners head offices in Southampton or Yeovil.
