Job Description
Our busy Cardiac and Cardio-Respiratory departments, staffed by a friendly and committed team, provide a comprehensive range of invasive and non-invasive cardiology investigations. These include Coronary Angiography, primary PCI using up to date techniques, ICD, CRT and Pacemaker implantation and follow-up, Echocardiography, Physiologist-led stress testing including RACP and Chest Pain Clinics, ambulatory monitoring techniques, as well as a routine ECG service. A full range of pulmonary function investigations are performed within our Cardio-Respiratory department at Perth Royal Infirmary.
This post is for an experienced Echocardiographer who will be working predominantly in performing and reporting adult transthoracic echocardiography, main base will be Perth Royal Infirmary but cross site working will be necessary. The post holder may be required to work in other areas of the department and therefore be appropriately qualified and experienced.
We are fully committed to continuing professional development and education. Attendance at local, national and international professional meetings/seminars is encouraged and supported.
Suitable candidates must possess a BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent and must be RCCP registered or equivalent. Candidates must hold BSE accreditation or equivalent and evidence post qualification experience with the ability to work autonomously, train and develop others.
