Working as part of a small team, this role will be responsible for the safe loading of four million tons of aggregate per year.
To complete the safe rail loading operations in line with customer requirements.
To maintain the mobile and static plant in a good order physically and with re-fuelling, greasing, cleaning in accordance with the manufacturers and Hanson recommendations.
To ensure all plant is operated as economically as possible.
To complete daily inspection sheets of the conditions of mobile plant.
To report problems or defects of mobile plant to the General Foreman.
To complete near miss reports as required by Site Management.
Good general education required as a large amount of health and safety regulations and Quarry Regulations are required to be understood and carried out.
Certification by MPQC to operate mobile plant.
NVQ level 2 in mobile plant operations required following MPQC completion.
