Job description
As Warehouse/Production Operative, you will contribute to a food safety culture within the production team, ensuring quality at all times. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is willing and eager to expand their skill set, and who wants to be involved in a new and fast growing industry , working with excellent , knowledgeable and industry leading like minded people.
The ideal candidate will have some experience of working within a food/supplement manufacturing environment. Ideally, you will have an understanding of the principles of food safety and of food manufacture. We are a small team so you MUST be a team player and enjoy working together to meet deadlines.
All candidates will be expected to be punctual, follow instruction, work quickly and accurately whilst ensuring food safety at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Production
· Handling of raw ingredients
· Working on the production line (mixing, filling, packing and labelling)
· Ensure safe and clean production areas by performing regular clean downs
· General warehouse duties
· Any other duties as required
Must be able to wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as deemed necessary by current Company and site health and safety procedures.
There will be overtime opportunities at advanced rate.
Qualifications/Experience
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Experience within a food manufacturing environment
