Description
We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic graduate engineer to join our structural engineering studio in Clerkenwell, London and apply their creative design skills on a challenging, high profile project as part of our interdisciplinary design team. You will have a unique opportunity to work industry leading projects from across the globe.
About you
You have a strong academic record with a degree from an accredited University and a passion for architecture and building design. You will be working closely with architects and will therefore be able to articulate your creative ideas persuasively through sketching, verbally and in writing. You have strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex tasks through rational and methodical thought to achieve an optimum solution. You have a collaborative team-working style and are able to work effectively with people at all levels and from all backgrounds.
Your personal skills
- Highly motivated and passionate about the built environment
- Organised and methodical with particular attention to detail;
- Have a pragmatic approach and possess strong problem solving techniques;
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to build relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with an ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy.
