What will this role achieve?
We have an exciting opportunity in our Site, Quality, Security & Environment (SQSE) team at Wigston reporting to the Group Manufacturing Standards Manager. This role offers responsibility for the maintenance of everyday hygiene standards for the site and for the management of the site cleaning operatives. You will ensure complete adherence to the pladis Cleaning Management System (CMS), such that high standards of production area hygiene are always maintained. You will also have accountability for the management of site-based production area cleaning contractors and/or pladis Cleaning Teams. The management of waste removal contractors for the site and support the application of lean techniques to ensure ongoing efficiency improvements.
What will be your key deliverables?

Manage all cleaning activities that take place in and around the production area and for maintaining everyday standards of hygiene across the site

Responsible for achieving budgeted figures

Planning and prioritising work and ensuring maximum use of resources

Delivering conformance to plan (cleaning schedule compliance)

Responsible for compliance to Health & Safety requirements where they relate to cleaning activities carried out by pladis and contractors

Identification, measurement, and publication of key performance indicators where they relate to cleaning and cleaning contractor activity

Proven experience in a Hygiene role ideally in a FMCG company

Good knowledge of Food Safety and Health & Safety legislation and its application
