Job Summary

Ciphr is seeking an experienced Director of Strategy and Operations to join us as we move through a planned period of exciting growth.

In this role you will be working closely with our CEO and alongside the Executive Leadership Team in response to, and as part of, our future growth and development aspirations.

A details-orientated designer of process you will have a track-record of translating ideas into strategies, and strategies into deliverable outcomes.

This role will give you the opportunity to both offer up your expertise and embrace the challenge of owning and delivering on several high-priority projects.

As Director of Strategy and Organisation will be working on:

  • Responsible for designing/organising operating cadence to ensure optimal efficiency and productivity
  • Gathering functional and departmental reports and KPI’s / OKR’s and compiling them into one company report
  • Assisting and communicating with the Ciphr ELT throughout decision-making
  • Annual planning process working closely with CFO & CEO
  • Leading weekly business reviews measuring progress against initiatives
  • Preparing key presentations
  • Driving quarterly business review
  • Leading and supporting the implementation of V2MOM process
  • Working with the Chief People Officer to support and refine ongoing organisation design
  • Responsible for the success of 2-3 high priority, cross-functional initiatives at any given moment. For example, acquisitions, pricing and packaging projects and organisational realignments
  • Assisting in implementing / building M&A investment thesis.
  • Leading and supporting GTM planning and opportunity analysis.
  • Provide opinions about the validity of ideas.

  • Ability to motivate, coordinate and ensure proper time-management amongst the company.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks with competing timelines and deliverables.
  • Experience making data-driven decisions.

You will have previous experience in the following:

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in business management roles
  • Experience at a strategy consulting firm is preferred.
  • Extensive planning, strategic initiatives, budget preparation etc
  • Advanced data analysis and analytics skills
  • Advanced skills in excel, power BI and Microsoft CRM
  • Positive outlook, enthusiastic, excitable, efficient, covet change
