We are looking for an Accounts Assistant who has very high standards and a proven ability to always strive for the best to join this fast-paced start-up in our finance team. You will be responsible for the bookkeeping of our operating entities and is a full-time role, reporting to the Senior Accounts Assistant.
The Role:
- Posting supplier bills and maintaining the Accounts Payable ledger
- Raising sales invoices and credit control
- Reconciling banks and other cash equivalent accounts
- Communicating with suppliers and dealing with ad hoc enquiries both internally and externally
- Preparing payment runs
- Managing employee expenses
Experience and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 12 months experience of working in a similar role
- Experience working in a multi-site business desirable.
- Experience with any of the following systems would be useful but not essential as training will be provided: Xero, Marketman, Shopify, Katana, Harri, Tenzo
- Ability to work to tight timescales whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy.
