At Donatello we care very much about all of our staff, we are a family run Italian Restaurant and we first opened our doors in 1996. Ever since opening we have been one of the busiest Restaurants in Warrington, boasting amazing food and impeccable service.
We are looking for a food runner and a bartender to join our hard working passionate Front of House team.
The food runner position will require the following:
Greet customers and offer menus, process drink orders, carry food and drinks from kitchen/bar to tables, take dirty plates/glasses back to the pot wash/bar area, prepare bills and process payments. Most importantly to accomplish all this at speed and with a big friendly smile.
The bartender position will require the following:
Greet customers, complete drink orders, wash dirty glasses, dry wet glasses and keep the bar in a hygienic organised manner. Most importantly to accomplish all this at speed and with a big friendly smile. Please note we do not have any cocktails on the menu.
No formal education is required however both these jobs can be extremely physical and requires a certain amount of focus. We find enthusiastic, lively, energetic, switched on and friendly people tend to excel in this type of work.
Applicants with previous experience in the industry are more likely to get the job. This job requires you to work weekends.
A weekly rota is shared via our WhatsApp group chat every Sunday evening. A typical shift is usually around 3-4 hours (from 17:30-21:30ish) but more hours are usually on offer every week. Tips are shared amongst all of our staff on a weekly basis and we also offer our staff free meals if they have worked a minimum of 4 hours. Pay is monthly.
