Studio Assistant
Salary: £19,822 - £21,131 per annum
This is a permanent opportunity to work as a Studio Assistant for a leading architectural firm in Bristol. The role of Studio Assistant will see the successful candidate assisting the Practice Operations team with reception duties and facilities operations.
Studio Assistant Responsibilities:
- Working alongside part time receptionist to be the first point of contact to all visitors, offering a personal greeting and assistance as required
- Communicate with teams and visitors alike, keeping them up-to-date with any last minute changes to meetings/visitors
- Assist with the security of the office and ensuring all visitors sign in
- Purchase items on behalf of the team/studio, in line with financial procedures
- Take pride in the appearance of the reception, studio area, and meeting rooms, ensuring they are clear, clean and tidy at all times
- Other administrative tasks as requested e.g. booking travel, couriers etc.
- Manage meeting rooms, ensuring that meetings happen in the correct room, and any overrunning meetings or issues are dealt with swiftly, in liaison with the Team Coordinators
- Prepare all refreshments for all meetings, ordering breakfast/lunch as necessary
- Assisting the Studio Coordinator with H&S duties
- Carry out work experience inductions
- Carry out minor repairs
Studio Assistant Essentials:
- Educated to A Level standard
- Minimum of two years in a similar role
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, Outlook
- Excellent social and communication skills
- Strong team player, with a readiness to ‘muck in’
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Well-presented and professional
