Job Description Summary
This role will be part of the Planning & Analysis (P&A) Finance team for IP&I, Consumer & Commercial Transformation, within the Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Group Costs & Investment Management, reporting to the Senior Finance Manager. The CoE provides an outstanding service dedicated to enabling Finance Business Partners (FBPs) to deliver high quality, timely and accurate outputs for the Business.
Job Description
This role will be part of the Planning & Analysis (P&A) Finance team for IP&I, Consumer & Commercial Transformation, within the Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Group Costs & Investment Management, reporting to the Senior Finance Manager. The CoE provides an outstanding service dedicated to enabling Finance Business Partners (FBPs) to deliver high quality, timely and accurate outputs for the Business.

This is an excellent opportunity to join our team in this pivotal role. We're looking for someone who can help cultivate an environment in which people bring out the best within the Planning & Analysis team with a customer centric philosophy, ensuring that core finance processes, reporting, budgeting and forecasting are delivered accurately and effectively. You’ll be working in a collaborative fashion with teams such as FBPs, Business Management and Reporting & Control

What you'll be responsible for...
  • Being the key point of contact for FBPs within the CoE
  • Collaborating across the CoE to deliver quality products in a timely manner
  • Delivering reporting, analysis & insight whilst providing effective and reliable support in the planning process to the FBPs and the business

What you'll be doing...
  • Undertake planning and analysis activities across BAU and Investment cost & benefits, challenging where necessary and providing commentary, analysis & insight
  • Communicating with Business Partners and Control teams on non-standard assumptions over month end, review accounting outputs and challenge
  • Support new analysis, scenario modelling and insight on the business to support strategic and operational outcomes
  • Supporting Business Partners at or for key meetings and representing P&A in wider meetings
  • Active involvement in work stream activity to improve processes of the team and more broadly across Group Costs and Investment Management
  • Build and maintain regular contact and strong working relationships with key collaborators, embodying the Group’s values and behaviours

What you'll need to have...
  • Qualified accountant
  • Experience of Cost Planning & Analysis activities within a Finance context
  • Strong communication skills and great stakeholder management
