Would you like the opportunity to join a busy and established Administration Team within Children's Services in Test Valley District Andover
Your administration skills and talent for organisation will be highly valued here in the Children's Services team. We can offer you a genuinely varied and responsible position and the chance to play a supporting role in helping the county's most vulnerable children.
Based in Test Valley District, our team works to safeguard children, promote their welfare and maximise their life chances. We want you to work alongside PAs and help keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes, while reducing the administrative burden on social workers.
Previous administrative experience would be preferable but good IT skills and knowledge of Word and Microsoft Office will be considered.
We can offer flexible working from home and in our modern offices based in location. This role would ideally suit a college leaver, people returning to work.
Role Responsibilities:
- Providing admin support for teams
- Typing of letters, emails, reports
- Distributing minutes
- Booking rooms
- Sending invitations
- Updating database
- Scanning and indexing
- Monitoring and updating spread sheets
Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- GCSE (or equivalent) level A-C (including English and Maths)
- Previous general administrative experience
- Computer literate
- Effective communication skills
