SCUK PMO Analyst FTC

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Santander Consumer Finance UK (SCUK) is based in Redhill, Surrey and provides motor finance to a network of dealerships throughout the United Kingdom.
We are in the middle of a project expanding our Contract Hire and Leasing offering and are looking for a PMO Analyst to join us on a 12 month fixed term basis. Reporting to the PMO Manager this role is responsible for gathering project tracking, monitoring and reporting information across the different workstreams and preparing the required reports to ensure the smooth running of the programme.
In addition, the PMO analyst will take ownership of the Governance and Procurement approval processes required to support the programme, e.g., securing approval for new vendors, solutions, etc. through the Bank’s different approval forums.
Please note that whilst this is a hybrid role at least 2 days a week are required in the Redhill office and according to project needs.
Responsibilities will include:
- Support the maintenance of the programme plans
- Gather progress reporting and milestone data from workstreams and vendors
- Maintain the RAID log and other tracking spreadsheets for the PMO Manager
- Maintain the programme’s Operation Risk Assessment; reporting all updates to the Group’s SMEs, coordinating with the programme to achieve risk mitigations up to and post delivery
- Be aware of and comply with the Group's policies and procedures
- Maintaining open and effective communication with Project Managers and stakeholders
- Assist the PMO manager with preparation of reports required to manage the programme
- Support workstream managers with the governance and procurement approval processes within the Bank to qualify/approve new vendors
- Be up to speed with all steps of the governance and procurement approval processes and record each steps when achieved
What we’re looking for:
- Significant practical experience in a similar role with demonstrable knowledge and expertise of successfully delivering software/line of business application projects to time and budget
- Proven experience managing PMO’s using Agile and Waterfall Methodologies
- Proven experience managing PMO’s utilising internal, external, 3rd party and outsourced resources across a multi-sourced supply chain essential
- Able to handle complex information and manage via Excel, shared work spaces, e.g. Sharepoint, etc., and reporting tools, e.g. MS Word, MS PowerPoint, etc.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and the desire to do a good job
- Ability to build and foster internal and external relationships
- Demonstrated initiative and commitment for results and the ability to set priorities and manage multiple initiatives
- Solid work ethic with attention to detail
