SCUK PMO Manager - 12 month FTC

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Santander Consumer Finance is one of the UKs Leading Motor Finance companies and we are currently looking for a PMO Manager on a 12 month fixed term contract to own and drive the coordination of activities across the current Programme which is expanding our Contract Hire and Leasing offering.
This is a critical role in ensuring that diverse activities across multiple workstreams, several vendors and different stakeholders is being properly planned, forecast, executed and reported and corrective actions are being taken to ensure the programme is delivered on time and budget.
Please note that whilst this is a hybrid role at least 2 days a week are required in the Redhill office and according to project needs.
Responsibilities will include:
- Take ownership of central planning of the programme catering to different stakeholders and audiences with different levels of details and priorities
- Monitor and track progress across all workstreams working closely with the respective project managers
- Ensure that all planning, reporting and forecasting reports are produced on time with the PMO analyst supporting as required
- Support Plutus Programme governance processes with factual and accurate information, e.g. Steering Committee, etc. working with the Programme Manager
- Actively Manage the Risk, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies (RAID) log for the programme
- Manage the forecasting of programme costs including resource forecasts and liaise with Finance and other relevant departments to record actual costs and identify and report variances and appropriate mitigations
- To engage with and drive workstream Project Managers and vendor Project Managers to maintain the momentum of the programme and ensure that tasks are completed on time
- Responsible for ensuring information is shared efficiently and decisions to be made are presented to the right decision maker at the right time
- Work with and support the PMO Analyst in reporting and governance
What we’re looking for:
- Significant practical experience in a similar role with demonstrable knowledge and expertise of successfully delivering software/line of business application projects to time and budget
- Experience of implementing Finance and Transition projects through to implementation
- Proven experience managing PMO’s using Agile and Waterfall Methodologies
- Proven experience managing PMO’s utilising internal, external, 3rd party and outsourced resources across a multi-sourced supply chain essential
- Strong knowledge of planning techniques, tools, and methods
- Able to handle complex information and manipulate data using Excel, shared work spaces, e.g. Sharepoint, etc., and reporting
- Must possess first class written and verbal communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with and present to both internal and external stakeholders across all levels of the business
- Experience of working in an established organisation offering Vehicle leasing / Contract Hire is desirable
