Job Purpose:
Support the Interior Design Lead UI Designer, Interior Director and CCO in:
- Delivering production in-vehicle user interface projects
- Crafting the future of Aston Martin digital products and experiences
- Championing best practice in UI design
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop robust design frameworks, asset libraries, and visual style guides for production-intent digital products
- Contribute to creative UI concepts that complement the company’s future-facing design language and strategy
- Evolve readily defined designs and support delivery to production, and support current AML products
- Balance work between flexible creative workstreams and tight, delivery-based deadlines
- Take ownership of your digital products from concept to delivery
- Present your work to key project stakeholders
- Work closely with UX team, interior design team, and relevant project stakeholders to deliver designs effectively
- Ability to work / communicate independently and as part of multi-disciplinary team, being flexible to project requirements
- Research, identify and communicate key attributes of AML products.
- Liaise with and direct Tier 1/Tier 2 suppliers
- Identify set and promote current and future digital design best practices
- Support Key Gateways and Studio Reviews
- Carry out special projects, as directed
- Participate in team-wide creative activities
Qualification & Experience:
- 5+ years of industrial experience
- Proven experience in creative, visual user interface design and shipping digital products using Figma and Adobe CC, showcased in an outstanding portfolio
- Bachelor’s degree in design (graphic, interaction, product, industrial) or equivalent experience
- English language to a professional working level.
- Ability to use the Microsoft Office Package, PowerPoint
- Figma, Adobe CC (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects)
- Maya / Blender / VRED experience is preferable
