£19,407 - £21,128 per annum, pro rata , plus monthly holiday pay allowance
Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based college based across the North of England with centres in York, Middlesbrough, Saltaire, Wakefield and Newcastle.
We offer a wide-ranging curriculum to our Further Education students, including Agriculture, Horticulture, Agriculture, Animal Management, Countryside and the Environment, Engineering, Equine, Floristry, Motorsport, Professional Tree Surgery, Outdoor Adventure Sport, Sports Development, Coaching and Fitness, Uniformed Public Services and Veterinary Nursing.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and positive individual who will be responsible for coordinating a high quality work placement programme for students on Study Programmes within specific departments.
This is an exciting and varied role which will require an organised team player with excellent communication skills as you will be required to arrange and meet employers in the workplace, work closely with our curriculum colleagues and the students themselves to ensure placements are set up correctly and meet all standards needed for the qualifications we offer. We are looking for an individual who can relate to both students and employers, and with a proven ability to manage and respond to conflicting priorities. Excellent administration skills will also be required and a high level of proficiency in learning and using software packages, however training will be available.
With a good standard of education to at least NVQ Level 3, you will have a thorough knowledge of FE, T-Levels and work related learning, work placement requirements and processes and experience of liaising with employers.
